Perusall: "Transform Course Content into a Social Learning Experience" In-Person
About: This workshop will introduce you to Perusall and share a few ways you can use it to improve peer-to-peer learning in your courses. Perusall is an interactive social learning platform that helps students engage with course content (text, audio, video, images). Developed by Eric Mazur (physics professor) at Harvard University, this platform integrates with Canvas allowing students to analyze and dialogue with one another about course materials. Perusall has direct and AI assisted methods for assessing engagement and participation as well as manual and automated grading features.
Location: This event will be offered both in-person in the Diane Conference Room as well as via Microsoft Teams video. When you register for online participation you will receive a meeting link 1 day prior to the event.
